Well hello there...

My name is Clare Neilson, I paint faces, and I'm here to bring your vision of beauty to life. Whether you're getting married, going to an event, or planning a high-fashion photo shoot, I'm your girl.

Although largely self-taught, I completed a bridal makeup course at the Australian College of Makeup and Special Effects (ACMUSE) here in Sydney. I worked on my first wedding in 2007, took a break to travel and live in London, and married my lobster in 2015 (shoutout to any Friends fans!) It was at my own wedding, sitting in a chair, chatting to my MUA when I realised it was time to turn my passion into a job once again. As a recent bride myself, I know how important it is to look your absolute best on such an important day and I take that responsibility very seriously.

I love working on different faces and playing with texture and colour but my favourite thing and absolute passion is skin. Makeup shouldn't cover, it should enhance, and there's nothing more beautiful than when skin looks perfect, natural - and lasts.
